How do I send attachments and voice notes?
Updated October 19, 2026
You can attach files to any message or internal note. On LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Telegram you can also record a voice note right in the composer.
Attach a file
- Open the conversation and click Reply (or Note).
- Click Attach File (the paperclip) and choose one or more files.
- The files show above the toolbar. Click the cross on one to remove it.
- Click Send.
Each file can be up to:
| Channel | Size per file |
|---|---|
| 25MB | |
| 10MB | |
| 16MB | |
| Telegram | 50MB |
A bigger file isn't added, and you see a message such as File "report.pdf" is too large. Max 10MB.
Record a voice note
- In a LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Telegram conversation, click Reply.
- Click Record Voice Note (the microphone). Allow microphone access if your browser asks.
- Speak. The composer shows Recording and a timer. Click Pause and Resume as needed.
- Click Stop. The voice note is added to the message, and you can play it back before sending.
- Click Send.
Good to know
- A voice note lasts 3 minutes at most. Recording stops by itself at 3:00.
- If the microphone is blocked, you see Microphone access is required to record. Allow it in your browser's site settings and try again. Some browsers can't record voice notes at all; you then see a message saying so.
- Voice notes aren't available for email or notes.
- A message with attachments can't be scheduled. Schedule send is greyed out until you remove them: "Scheduling with attachments is not supported. Remove attachments to schedule."
- On LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Telegram, you can also drag an image onto the composer to attach it. In emails and notes, a dragged image goes into the text instead (see format a message).
