I didn't receive my sign-in code, or it says it's invalid
Updated October 19, 2026
When you type your work email and click Send sign-in code, Breakcold emails you a 6-digit code. Enter it under Verification code and click Verify and continue.
The code doesn't arrive
- Wait a minute or two, then check your spam, junk and "Promotions" folders.
- Check the email address on the code screen ("Enter the sign-in code we sent to …"). If it's wrong, click Back to sign in and type it again.
- Click Send a new code. Then use the code from the newest email only.
- If your company filters incoming email, ask your IT team to allow messages from Breakcold.
- Your work email runs on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365? Skip the code: click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft on the sign-in page.
The code screen appears even when no account exists for that address. Getting no email can mean a typo in the address.
"That verification code is incorrect or expired."
- The code was mistyped, or it's an older code. Click Send a new code and use the one from the newest email.
- Codes only work for a short time. Request a new one if the email is more than a few minutes old.
- Open the code on the same device and in the same browser where you asked for it.
"Too many attempts. Wait a moment and try again."
You tried too many codes in a row. Wait a few minutes before requesting a new code, then enter it once, carefully.
"Additional verification is required before you can continue."
Breakcold wants to make sure it's really you, for example on a new device. Enter the extra code it sends you by email or text message.
