How do I choose which notifications I get by email?

Each type of notification can reach you in two ways: In-App, on the Notifications page, and Email. Both are on for every type until you change them.
Step by step
- Open Notifications in the sidebar and click the sliders icon (Notification Preferences) at the top of the list.
- Each row is a type of notification. Turn off Email for the types you don't want in your inbox, and keep In-App on to still see them on the Notifications page. Each change is saved at once.
Good to know
- Turning In-App off for a type also stops its emails. To stop only the emails, turn off Email and leave In-App on.
- Emails for Mentions, Assignments and Record Owner Assignment are grouped: Breakcold waits about 3 minutes after the first one and sends a single email with everything that came in meanwhile. Other types are emailed one by one.
- Your preferences are your own, and they're saved for the workspace you're in. Set them in each workspace you work in. Every role can change them.
- Every notification email has an Unsubscribe link at the bottom. It stops that type of email from Breakcold in every workspace, and its Email switch shows as off. Notifications on the Notifications page don't change. To get those emails again, turn the Email switch back on.
- The preferences panel needs a screen at least 1024 pixels wide.
FAQ
Can I turn off every notification email?
Yes: turn off Email on every row. Emails about your account, such as sign-in, security and billing, are still sent.
Will my teammates still be notified when I mention them?
Yes. Your preferences only change what you receive. Each teammate chooses their own.
