How do I change my login email?

The email on your Preferences page is the address you sign in with. You can change it yourself, for example after a company rebrand or a move to a new domain.

Step by step

1. Open your Preferences and click Update next to Email.

2. Type your new email address.

3. Click Save, then Update Email in the Update Email Address? window. Email updated successfully! confirms the change.

Good to know

• The change applies as soon as you click Update Email. Use the new address the next time you sign in.
• Check the address carefully before you confirm. There is no undo button: to go back, change it again.
• The new address can't belong to another Breakcold account. If it does, you see This email is already used by another account.
• If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, use the same address there. Breakcold links a Google or Microsoft sign-in to your account when the email matches.
• Changing your login email doesn't change the email accounts you connected for your inbox. Those are managed in Settings → Accounts.

FAQ

I changed my email and can't sign in

Sign in with the new address, not the old one. If you no longer have access to either, contact support.

Can I change a teammate's login email?

Not from your account. Each person changes their own login email from their Preferences page.
