How do I delete a record, and can I get it back?
Updated October 19, 2026
A deleted record waits 30 days in Deleted records, where you can restore it. Breakcold has no archive for records.
Delete records
- One record, from its page: click the ••• icon at the top right of the details pane, then Delete.
- One record, from the table: right-click its row, or hover it and click the ••• icon at the end of the row, then Delete.
- Several records: tick their boxes in the table, then click the trash icon (Delete) in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
Each time, type delete and click Delete to confirm. A record's field values, notes, files and links to tasks, activities, conversations and meetings go with it.
Step by step
- Open Settings → Records and click Deleted records, above the list of objects.
- Find the record: search by its name or pick an object in the list next to the search field. Then click Restore on its row. To restore several, tick their boxes and click Restore in the bar at the bottom of the page.
Good to know
- Each row shows who deleted the record, when, and the days left.
- Restoring creates a new record with a new ID. Webhooks, exports and other tools that kept the old ID won't match it.
- Values of fields or options removed since the deletion aren't restored, and links to records deleted since then are skipped.
- Delete forever, in a row's ⋮ menu or in the selection bar, removes it at once. To confirm, type the record's name, or for several the number shown, such as
3 records. This can't be undone.
FAQ
Can I undo an import?
Not in one click. Filter the table on Created to show the records the import created, select them and delete them. Records it updated keep their new values.
Can I archive a deal instead of deleting it?
There's no archive. Move the deal to a lost stage, such as Lost, and filter those out of your view.
