Does Breakcold support two-factor authentication?
Updated October 19, 2026
Breakcold has no setting to turn on an authenticator app yourself. Your sign-in is still protected:
- Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft: your Google or Microsoft account's two-step verification applies every time you sign in. This is the best option if your company enforces two-factor authentication.
- Sign-in code by email: by default there is no password to steal. Each sign-in needs a fresh 6-digit code sent to your mailbox, so only someone with access to your email can get in.
- Extra checks: on an unusual sign-in, such as a new device, Breakcold can ask for one more code by email or text message.
Good to know
- If your organization needs single sign-on (SSO) with your company's identity provider, tell us in the chat: open Help center at the bottom of the sidebar, then click Chat with us.
- Protect the mailbox you sign in with: it is the key to your Breakcold account.
