Does Breakcold keep a history of field changes?
Updated October 19, 2026
Yes. A field keeps only its current value, but each change made in the app is logged in the record's timeline, on the Activities tab. That includes deal stage changes.
Step by step
- Open a record and click the Activities tab.
- Find the change in the timeline, newest first. A field change reads "updated" followed by the field name, for example "updated Pipeline Stage". Click it to see the old value, an arrow, and the new value.
What you see
- Who and when: the teammate who made the change and the time. Changes made automatically show Breakcold instead.
- Old → new value: "empty" when the field had no value, or was cleared.
- Time in stage: for a pipeline stage or another select field, how long the record stayed on the previous value.
- Owner and other member fields show as "updated members on Owner". Adding or removing a linked record shows as "added a relation" or "removed a relation".
- Enrichment shows as "enriched" followed by the field names, with the values it found.
- Formula fields show as "recalculated", with the field name.
Good to know
- Edits from the record page, a table and a pipeline board are all logged.
- Changes made to several records at once, with Bulk edit or Set Owner, are not logged.
- Updates from a CSV import, the API or the MCP show that the record was updated, without the old and new values.
- The history can't be filtered or exported, and the API has no endpoint to read it. To keep your own log, send the Record Updated event to another tool with a webhook: each change sends the record with its current values.
- Merging two records adds an entry with an Undo merge button for 30 days. See How to merge duplicate records.
